KILN DRIED ASH LOGS

Why Choose Our Kiln Dried Logs?

As a certified Ready-to-Burn supplier, you can be confident that all our firewood has a moisture content under 20% and is ready to burn straight away.

Ash wood burns with a cleaner, brighter flame and produces less residue and tar, helping keep your stove and chimney cleaner with less maintenance.

Our kiln dried ash logs burn hotter and longer than seasoned or unseasoned logs, making them more efficient and helping to reduce your fuel consumption

Perfect for open fires, wood burners, pizza ovens, and fire pits — our kiln dried ash logs deliver consistent performance every time.

FROM OUR SUPPLIER...

Responsibility, safety, ecological soundness, and foresight are at the core of our business. While we don’t manage forestry ourselves, we make it a priority to carefully consider where our raw materials come from. We only work with FSC certified forest enterprises and regularly visit the forests to assess the conditions in which the wood is grown.

Once the logs arrive at our production site, they are immediately processed and split into firewood. Splitting naturally produces some waste in the form of sawdust and splinters, but we’ve found a way to nearly eliminate it by using it to power our drying kilns.

The freshly split logs then go into the kilns, where they are dried to achieve a low moisture content. Depending on the initial condition of the wood, this process takes three days to a week.

After drying, the logs are stored in open air, roof covered conditions to allow further moisture reduction.
